I've often thought it was sad when taggers are punished. Sure some "canvases" are sacred too, but...

Totally. I think there's a beauty in this - and if someone can't see the beauty then they should, perhaps, enjoy the history - it's a patination of kinds ...

I got dizzy on my phone going up and down trying to decipher what was from where 🤪

It's sometimes easier when there are scraps of advertising!

Funny - I was instantly reminded of Naples. =)

I adored Naples - sadly I didn't have nearly enough time there - I found myself partly like a 'kid in a sweetshop' photographically and weirdly challenged technically - and I'm so NOT a technical photographer. There's at least one more Naples post to come in the future!

My son and I went to the Joan Jonas exhibit at MOMA in NYC

awhile ago. Part of the exhibit was poetry about how she created her art.

My son and I were very excited about that fusion.

Another piece was a set of mirrors and an invitation to become

part of the exhibit.

Could life get much better than being surrounded by all that joyous creativity?

Don't think so!!

Richard, love this noise of humanity. We need this as much as we need the ensuing stillness.

Yes Linda - this kind of scene always fills my heart with joy - all the stories and the history of it. I'm always suspicious of cities that are a little 'too' clean. And about creativity - I feel the walls are there for us all - no barriers, no exclusivity, a free public gallery!
