Totally. I think there's a beauty in this - and if someone can't see the beauty then they should, perhaps, enjoy the history - it's a patination of kinds ...

I adored Naples - sadly I didn't have nearly enough time there - I found myself partly like a 'kid in a sweetshop' photographically and weirdly challenged technically - and I'm so NOT a technical photographer. There's at least one more Naples post to come in the future!

My son and I went to the Joan Jonas exhibit at MOMA in NYC

awhile ago. Part of the exhibit was poetry about how she created her art.

My son and I were very excited about that fusion.

Another piece was a set of mirrors and an invitation to become

part of the exhibit.

Could life get much better than being surrounded by all that joyous creativity?

Yes Linda - this kind of scene always fills my heart with joy - all the stories and the history of it. I'm always suspicious of cities that are a little 'too' clean. And about creativity - I feel the walls are there for us all - no barriers, no exclusivity, a free public gallery!
