”Brill” photos! I don’t know what happens when I see a picture of a street sign I too gave passed!

Brill Place is one of my favourites, I think I missed a vocation as a 'street namer' could have come up with some blinders I feel sure!

That would be a great job indeed, one to envy. Anyways, problem is seeing these I want to revisit these places.

I keep searching for connections with these, OR MAYBE something like a visual Zen koan, the answer in search of a question.....

The link, if there is one, is tenuous... more of a flow. I always create these 'visual' poems with the sonnet form in mind, groups of four and a couplet at the end but often a pretty image will sway my ordering ... but finding your own connections is half the fun I think!

Very tenuous, I would think, although the subconscious mind can do some unusual things. I've studied a lot of articles about Jungian imagery. The US school system gave some kids Rorschach tests, those can be VERY INTERESTING. I was never sure what my results were !

Ha! Yes I used to actually live in Sydenham back in the day - it was my first time living South of the river ... not sure I liked the lack of tubes tbh and it might have been the final nail in our 20+ years London lives ... but we did have some good times there - used to spend an age in Mayow with the kids!
