This seems like the beginning of an anthology. & the image resembles part of an ancient canyon reproduced in CONCRETE, glass & steel. An image such as that is a GREAT choice. Brutalist ?

There are certainly enough to make an anthology - I just need to work through them - will be posting more here between the poems ... The Alexandra estate is brutalist, although of low rise variety where the concrete is broken up by planters and greenery.

Time to engage " the little grey cells " ( to shamelessly borrow from Hercule Poirot ). Be looking forward to reading that. The architecture reminds me of a large - & I do mean LARGE - apartment complex where some friends lived. By comparison, I lived in a MATCHBOX ! A real - estate person would refer to it as " cozy ". Apartment # 3 is almost claustrophobia - inducing.

Brutalist is a new style to me. Prairie, Bauhaus, Usonian. YEP - Definitely new.

I'm loving these 15 minute fictions, Richard. I agree with Daniel, I can see the beginnings of an anthology. I'm always making up stories about my crazy Swiss neighbours, imagining what's inside their apartments, their vigilant routines and daily habits. Or perhaps I'm just a curious sticky beak!

Thank you Alison ... there are plenty more where these come from! I'm trying to kickstart the 15 minute routine again - not doing very well at the moment ... but perhaps by posting here it will encourage me!
