Those three minutes were the calmest I’ve been all day. I should consider apocalypse bedtime stories as part of my self help routine!

Thank you - I'm glad you found some solace in it ... it was always meant to feel that way!

Great story here!

I love this of London, central areas like City of London and surrounding, during the weekend they're completely empty and you can have them for yourself. Great for architectural photography.

Great! And that's how it felt in NYC at the beginning of the recent pandemic. If no one had died, it would have been called "glorious"!

Forgive me if I am projecting. This is a lovely piece. However, I am so alone that it's chiseling away at my sanity.

Thank you - these stories are written 'off the cuff' so to speak - an image brings to mind a story and I write for 15 minutes. Before posting them here I spend a little time with grammar, spelling, turn of phrase - but nothing radical. What I like about them is that they are usually un-resolved. Sometimes I think I will go back and turn them into short stories ( this is something I am now seriously considering ) but I do like that you can make of them what you like. I'm not sure why there are no people. But this might not be a bad thing...

I think this depends on what kind of day you just had?

Richard. “What If, the answer to your question “Where the Fuck is everyone” was a moment in time for you, a Harbinger of a future reality, as the people are gone, because they were raptured to Heaven. In a twinkling of an eye they were whisked away to spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ, their Lord & Savior. “WHAT IF??” It’s something to consider as the most popular book ever written “The Bible” i.e. “B, Book” of “I, Instructions”, “B” Before”, “L, Leaving”, “E, Earth” tells us about the rapture which will happen in the end times…

The interpretation is entirely with the reader ... I'm not sure I have one for this story in my mind yet ...

Thank you ... I kind of wrote a follow up piece which I didn't like - so I might do another and see where we end up!
