As I'm looking at these images I'm imagining what happened to each fisherman, what did they want from live, how did life treat them. Great work Richard : )
Cool thank you Kevin - if you are interested there are a few more series on my website 100realpeople.co.uk - particularly under the Projects section ...
Thank you Donn - I did a series on rocks but they kind of just got a little lost - so the plain white seemed to let me focus on just the gloves themselves
Great series! I just picked up a few of those while cleaning the beach in Denmark. Didn't think of scanning / photographing them, but always wonder how they end up at the beach...
Thank you Susanne - I always had some romantic idea they were lost at sea - but to be honest they're probably just dropped off the dock in Newly - a fishing village near where I live.

Thank you Richard - they all have a story to tell
This is great! Funny, I was just preparing a talk I'm giving on photo series. Perfect timing!

...one million yeses...
Thank you my friend!
Class! The variety of work you have is astounding.
Thank you David I really appreciate your kind words.
Each photograph is so unique.
It makes me wonder what they were doing. Also, thankful they hadn’t used ungloved hands.
Each certainly has it's own story!
Very cool! Love the minimalist studio shots of all these, in sequence. It's a great way to make the ordinary quite interesting.

100% successful!
Well done, Richard!
Thank you Paul!
That’s a great idea for a photo series. Well done!
Thank you Mark ...
Love this! ‘Messages in a bottle’, each pair
Thank you Marco & Sabrina
