It's raining, so I must take my umbrella. But I'll still go out in trainers and no socks.

I always think it's weird that if our heads are dry we don't feel we're getting wet. Or is that just me?

No, it's me as well. We can have a gale blowing in our faces, and our legs can be numb with cold, but what really makes us feel cold is our backs. We snuggle into blankets wrapped around our backs and then we are warm, which I suppose is right - we are. We are as warm as we feel we are. And we are as wet as we feel we are.

Odd how long it takes to dry out after being in water, whereas getting wet is done in a split second of getting into it.

Thank you, KewtieBird!

I, personally, don’t like to share my umbrella. Another great series of photographs.

Thank you, Monica - yep, sharing only works with people of very similar height - but even then, you're better off with two.

I've yet to capture anyone dancing ... maybe a whole new series to look out for!

Sufi dervishes - I have a book about Rumi that has either a photograph or reasonably well - detailed drawing of a darwish on the cover.

& Malcolm McDowell did a grotesque parody of it in A Clockwork Orange. I saw part of it as a kid before mom turned it off. Not exactly kid - friendly.....

Almost everybody wearing trainers. It's amazing how things have changed.

I hadn't noticed that! - which makes me think about a series of 'nice shoes' photos - thanks for the idea Gianni!

Gracias, ¡lamentablemente muchas de ellas fueron tomadas en pleno verano!
