Uncovering
A poem
Now, this is what I call rain, the kind that disturbs ancient Victorian drains by sheer volume and capacity. Temporary ponds, rising towards the pavement’s curb, making folk run panicked, agitated by nature’s ferocity. Nooks of shelter overflowing into the pubs, cafes and shops. A welcome dry sanctuary for those seeking refuge. A rain that stings cheeks of the faces of those foolish, or happy enough to look up into this heavenly deluge. Right here are just two, worshipping their splatterings, rain-lashed, slicked from the cloudburst’s warm smothering. Arms embracing a youthful folly, dancing, smiling and laughing. A drenching adventure enhancing the treasure they're uncovering.

Thoughtful perspective of rain Richard!!!
In Colorado when they experience a deluge of rain, they refer to it as “A Gulley Washer”. In Texas, they refer to it as “A Toad Choker”. They all shout out “Rain Rain Go Away, Come back another day”.
