Beauty is not just a pretty face,
a cliché, object nor a place.
Beauty is a depression, of sorts,
a yearning or absence, never a loss.
Something we hopelessly ache to hold,
to gather-in, stash or covetously horde.
Yet knowingly never possess or own,
unable to touch, impossible to form.
