Mine the Silence
Yesterday it rained and it was a terrible scene, but somehow it made the day easier to square up to. There was no sheen to wear or dull or fog. Nothing to live up to no act to perform. Yet today, look. You start with a highlight, and everyone expects it to carry on this way. The intensity dropped. I knew it would when I wished it wouldn’t. Close eyes to the dark and find a better approach. Mine the silence. Prospect peace, a place where we can think out of these distractions that so tirelessly overwhelm.
