If we should possess a map to direct us to where we assume we want to be, would we honestly use it? Could we read it properly, or trust inherently to where it points us? Is the route itself more important than the destination? Would everyone have already reached there? Perhaps we would be better off in unchartered territory or use another, unfamiliar, method of interpretation. I met someone in a pub once who told me they directed their whole life by means of listening to water.
