A short poem about confusing people.
This is where it all started. Leaving things for people She didn’t know. A coffee cup with a message. Then: Poems, postcards, Notes, letters and shopping lists. Photographs, Desires, fantasies and dreams. Obscenities. Napkin love letters, Rings fabricated from foil sweet wrappers and paper clips, Seats full of heart shapes ripped from newspapers, Made up business cards, Flyers for imaginary art shows, Photocopied bank notes, Pound coins super-glued to the floor. Lewd suggestions on the back of toilet doors. Song lyrics, Invented Hymns, Prayers to unknown gods. Counterfeit pub-quiz beer vouchers, Mock betting slips. Phoney biographies, Bogus bibliographies, Park bench brass plaque epitaphs. Her obituary
