We hold on tight as protection from the human fright

Supporting both, never alone, waiting for the next bus home

The touch of tenderness, sensitivity and, maybe, a little stability

Four hands appear as one. A front against the world

Using subtle interaction, guiding with the minimum of perceivable direction

Through vistas modern and past, united in our every path

Trying not to fall down; holding firmly to solid ground

Gestures of fondness, to memories of times with more kindness

To be there when one needs more than the other

Bringing up the rear, fond or inappropriate: never that clear
