The existential struggle of not taking every single thing literally

Misdirected, my life berserk, thanks for pointing it out roadworks

Everyone’s mashed up opinions. Only you know the real truth

Tell them what to do: watch them break the rules

The materials are everywhere, best make a start constructing yourself

On the heap, no clear bearings, either way needs daring

Never quite sure the true path is trustworthy or pure

Hard to replay, once you started down the wrong way

You think everything’s known, then a new way is shown

Always upwards in good faith, knowing you can religiously embrace
