A sleight of hand
and does it matter?
There was a sleight of hand at play you’d clocked it just a while ago. Now you could not help but see it. A Muller-Lyer or Fedex arrow. Had you been tricked all along was there deception along the way? Was this your very own mistake or had you just been led astray? What is true? Who’s to say, and does it matter either way?

Your writing is so intriguing! Twice now, I’ve needed to seek google to understand words or names you have included in your art which are unfamiliar to my inquisitive mind :) My high school English teacher would likely be impressed that now, instead of guessing, I look things up :)
To address your last question, “and does it matter?” Seems I have been saddle with this same query before in something I wrote. I guess my answer would be, it depends if it touches upon the deepest places in the human heart!
